No fun in Whiterun
The jailer of Whiterun Dragonsreach dungeon never had a problem with prisoner's discipline. But the new group of four inmates are different story...
As the jailer locked the last prisoner in chains, she said:
"Girls, I heard from the guards you had too much fun in your cell at night. From now you will be locked in these protection devices. The only time we take them down will be when you are placed in pillory! And miss Tonilia will be chained to the wall and gagged whole night. I don't know what you want to achieve by trying to bite me."
"Hmm, madam" said Mikki with cheeky grin, "the guards are just jealous because the weren't allowed to join. Next time give them the cell keys."
"Enough! If I hear one more word, you all will spend night in shackles. Besides, to use the belt is an order from jarl himself."
Svahire shivered a little as the belt was tightened aroud he waist. She wasn't shackled to the wall but still her hands were bound uncomfortably behind her back. She hoped nobody will provoke the jailer any further. Bud after a short silence she heard Ciri starting to laught.
Ciri raised her head as shackles allowed and with the most innocent facial expression she asked: "So you say that the jarl is the one who doesn't have fun at night and is jealous of poor prisoners?"
Mikki began to laugh and Tonilia made some noise through her gag which also sounded like laughter. The guard tried hard to maintain serious expression, jailer's face turned red and Svahire's hope for a quiet night disappeared. She also laughted with others while guards dragged them back to cell.
Back in the cell, after lot of struggle, all prisoners were stretched in chains and gagged.
"Finally no talking back" said the jailer, "You will be like this all night. For the rest of the sentence, you will always be shackled."
The door was slammed shut and prisoners were left in cell, mouths stuffed with gags, limbs aching from the unnatural position. Unable to speak and comfort each other, they were staing motionless feeling the cold air on their naked bodies. But when they looked at each other, there was a bit of smile through the gag and in the faces you could read "To made the jailer angry? It was worth it!"
